It’s not just that it’s claustrophobic. There is probably no air being produced aside from the poison which is being released from the rotting bodies, a constant, putrid smell which has nowhere to be vented from the fridge, and so that’s all he’s breathing. Realistically, Gamzee has probably thrown up quite a few times. And considering he’s being starved in there, what do you think he’s eating? He has three choices if he doesn’t want to starve. It could be the dead corpses of his former friends, his vomit, or….
Well, let me just say that they aren’t letting him out to use the bathroom, only adding to how awful and terrifying and torturous it is in that lonely fridge, not to mention the smell. They are keeping this poor sixteen year old kid in there indefinitely. And he can’t cry for help or scream or try and open the door to the fridge because they have him gagged and tied up. And they honestly think this is going to benefit them? After suffering years of abuse and having a terrible mental break, losing the only coping mechanisms he’s had (his religion and sopor) and then being locked in a fridge like this as punishment by the same people who shunned him, what do you think would happen once he was let out? The same people who used and abused and mistreated his former self have now decided to punish him for the way he is off sopor and under lil Cal’s influence. And his friends were the ones who told him he needed to stop consuming the sopor anyways. So, he’s probably going to come out a lot more enraged than before if not completely emotionally and physically broken. In his mind, he probably doesn’t feel like the bad guy right about now. He might not even be able to express his rage, he’s probably malnourished and physically worn and ashamed since he’s covered in his own filth. And realistically he is. I doubt he’d even be able to speak immediately from being unable to for so long. Let the God damn boy out of the fucking fridge it will only get worse for him the more we wait. Seriously, think about it.
